On October 5th and 6th, from 1 to 5 p.m., come and have your photo taken in period costume. We have several costumes from the Victorian and Edwardian periods. RESERVATION REQUIRED!
To reserve your place, send an e-mail to symmesreception@gmail.com r leave a message at 819-682-0291. Please include the number of participants, your preference for the date and time, and the garment size for each person, referring to the available sizes below.
GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
- Wear pants, shorts or leggings
- For children (boys and girls), wear a white t-shirt.
- Wear dark shoes (black, brown, etc.) – no running shoes or sandals
- For women, if long hair, tie it up in a bun or similar (bring the necessary items).
- Length of photo session: 30 minutes. The $5 contribution per person is paid in cash on site.
- The pictures will be edited and sent via internet with WeTransfer.
COSTUMES – WOMEN
- Victorian and Edwardian dresses. Sizes M, L, XL.
- Long skirts, sizes S, M, L, XL.
- White blouses, sizes S, L, XL, XXL and point 16.
- Black skirt with black blouse, size XXL.
- Hats in various styles (Victorian, Edwardian, colonial, straw, etc.)
- Lace Umbrella
COSTUMES – MEN
- Black jacket in medium and large(Victorian), small sleeveless jacket, shirt bib, tie, black pants with suspenders and belt, bowler hat or top hat.
- Peasant shirts (black, gray or beige) without collar and in various sizes, small sleeveless jackets, caps. Wear dark pants, no jeans.
BOYS (6 to 8 years – depending on height)
- Medium size pants with small black wool jacket
- Grey sailor cap
GIRLS (10 to 14 years – depending on height)
- Skirts in different colors
- White blouses
- Long dress with lace (velcro fastening)
- American colonial era hats (related colors)
- White caps in light fabrics
