The “Ode à la rivière des Outaouais” festival pays tribute to the importance the Ottawa River has always held for the region—and continues to hold today.

The steampunk movement draws its inspiration from science fiction and the 19th-century Industrial Revolution, particularly the works of Jules Verne and H. G. Wells. It offers a contemporary and critical perspective on that era. Originally a literary genre, it is now expressed through art, crafts, music, film, and fashion, promoting creativity, upcycling, and craftsmanship. The steampunk movement, which is present around the world—including in the Outaouais region—is a diverse and inclusive community.

Come join in the fun and free activities organized by the Association Steampunk Québec with a tea-themed twist. You’ll have the chance to learn more about this fascinating and dynamic movement. Activities will be offered throughout the day.

Games for the whole family, costumed characters, and a festive atmosphere are on the agenda. Get ready for an unforgettable experience!
